C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2016
FINANCE COMMITTEE REPORT INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:
The Finance Committee had three conference calls to review the budget and other open items this last year. I just found out on Sunday morning that our Chairperson had resigned.
We are excited to announce a couple of new ways individuals and Area’s can donate to CAWS. You can go to the website and press the “donate” button and donate that way. You can also set this up as a recurring donation. You can set up an automated transfer via the $.M.A.R.T. program, and soon you will see our new “donate” envelopes. They will be replacing the “birthday” envelopes, which will allow you to donate for a birthday, a sponsor’s birthday, a memorial to a friend who passed away, or other choices. And, of course, we still have our World Contribution Plan.

We’d like to invite all committees to stop by the Finance Committee room to discuss your budgets.
We have been working closely with the WSOB, WSOB Treasurer, and our Trustee. We are still working on our International Financial Guidelines, and you’ll have seen the first installment that was sent out in the Delegate Mailing in June. We need and would greatly appreciate input from the members of the European and Canadian Fellowships to join us in this endeavor. Our budgets were sent out in the SR14 mailing, and may be revised during the 2016 Conference. We are looking forward to an active, busy committee this year.
