The World Service Conference Convention Committee (WSCCC) would like to start by asking the Conference to help thank the CAWS 2016 committee and the WSOB for hosting a very successful World Service Convention in Chi Town!!!!! We greatly appreciate their efforts on behalf of C.A.
CAWS 2017 will be hosted by the Washington State District in Seattle. We are looking forward to experiencing some great recovery and continue to PARTY. We will be seeing a great presentation from them in our closing reports.
Grab your passport, because the Atlantic North region, Quebec Area, will host CAWS 2018 in the beautiful city of Montreal. This convention will be translated in both English and French. What a great opportunity for all of us all to experience this culture.
In 2019 CAWS will be hosted by the European Region, that is right folks, we are crossing the pond and heading internationally to Sweden!!
We have three bids for the 2020 World convention: Austin Texas, New York New York and Denver Colorado. All three areas will present their bids on Saturday. You will be hearing about the great possibilities from these three areas throughout the convention.

During this past year the Convention Committee has been busy working on monthly conference calls to stay on top of any convention related issues. I would like to thank the members for their diligent work in this process. We also hosted “The Great Exchange” at conference this year and I’d like to personally thank Debbi S. for taking the minutes this year. The minutes will be available on the Box for those that would like to see what we had accomplished at this meeting. Also I want to give a shout out to Dwanna R. for helping the exchange be a success.
