The Unity Committee statement of purpose is to enhance our communication and global outreach among the diverse elements within our fellowship in the interest of carrying the C.A. message and to promote C.A. unity.
The Unity breakfast is set for Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. and I’m happy to say there are already 120 tickets sold. It will be a wonderful event and will be announcing our speaker very shortly!!. More will be revealed!! There are still a few tickets left and we encourage everyone to join us. There are 12 step meetings set for before and after the sessions each day and we encourage you all to attend. There’s nothing better than sitting in a C.A. meeting with fellow addicts from all over the world. If there is anyone that is interested in leading a meeting please see me after the session.
We look forward to working with the World Service Convention Committee to plan the best Unity event possible in Seattle. Our efforts will also be focused on Celebrate Around the World and getting the word out about this unifying event. We continue to solicit artwork for CATW. If you have artistic talent we welcome your submissions!!
We are working hard to promote unity throughout Cocaine Anonymous. We need people to step up and serve on this often overlooked committee. We are open to all suggestions to help not only retain the newcomer but to re-engage the old timers. We need an active unity committee in all districts, areas, regions and the world. We use the Yahoo unity registry to share ideas, sponsor workshops and raise the awareness of unity. Please get your area unity chairpersons to sign up. You don’t have to be a unity member to join. Every concerned member of this fellowship is welcome.

REFERRALS THAT WERE WORKED ON DURING THE YEAR:
Referrals from last year’s conference that will we continue to work on:
2015-CON 1-T Suggest Unity events be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I worked on 2 CAWS conventions in a row. Steering Committee literally put the Unity events on low priority

items. Suggest more emphasis and budget priority on Unity. Suggest world wide Unity input & coordination for the CAWS events.
The committee is working with the CAWS Convention committee to ensure we have a great Unity event.
2015-IT 1-T Please coordinate “digital link ups” for CATW using Skype or similar technology between areas that wish to participate and create an advertising campaign to raise awareness of this opportunity to the wider fellowship.
