INTRODUCTION AND COMMENTS:
The WSCIT Committee has remained ac ve and engaged throughout this service year, continuing to support the Fellowship through technology, communication, education, and service infrastructure. Our work this year focused heavily on improving communication tools, strengthening online resources, supporting the continued growth of the C.A. Meeting
Finder App, developing educational materials regarding emerging technologies, reviewing
Tradition concerns across websites, and collaborating closely with the WSOB, WSBT, and other WSC Committees within the Fellowship.
Throughout the year, the committee worked diligently to balance innovation with spiritual principles, always striving to protect the Traditions while suppor ng the evolving needs of Cocaine Anonymous worldwide. We are grateful for the many thoughtful discussions, differing perspectives, and shared experience that helped guide our work and decision-

I wonder if it might be possible to add a ‘share app’ function to the drop-down menu, so that when we’re talking to a prospect, new member or visitor we can easily send the App straight to their phone. Even if they don’t download it straight away, at least they will have the information their phone to do so at a later date.

Hello, I’ve been trying to find out when WS Committees meet – it’s really not been very easy.
It would be very useful to have a calendar of WS committee meetings on the CA.org website. Just so that If people want to join a committee or even just a end a meeting to see

A spot check inventory where you have fillable fields to for ‘Who you are resentful at, the cause, affects, and my part.’ (This could be something we charge a small 1- me fee and make this like an add on which could help generate money for world). 7. Have our daily meditation come up for people who have purchased the electronic copy of Quiet Peace. 8. Add nightly review (could also be something we charge a 1- me fee for) with questions such as: Did I pray and meditate today? Where was I resentful? How was I selfish? How was I dishonest? How was I afraid?
Do I owe an apology? Who did I help today? Was I kind and loving? Was I thinking of myself most of the me? Was I thinking about what I could do for others? What defects did I live in today? What could I have done be er? What did I do well? What am I grateful for? Who needs my prayers? Did I use my 10th step throughout the day? 9. A place for a gratitude list.
10. A place for a journal.
These are all just ideas to provide extra tools to our members. On the ones where we charge, we could maybe make those part of a “premium” op on and charge a small monthly fee or a yearly fee to generate funds. I appreciate all you do. Keep up the great work!

I am proposing that the IT Committee consider the creation of a formal financial reporting template or structured format. This format could include standardized categories for income, expenses, prudent reserve tracking, budget comparisons, and any other financial data that supports informed decision-making.
The purpose of this referral is not to alter existing policy without discussion, but rather to support the Treasurer in carrying out their responsibilities efficiently and consistently while

Further, that each committee/board determine that their current files/documents etc confirm to the naming convention.

The IT committee of WSC to explore current and future meeting platforms for C.A. Meetings.
Discussion: C.A. has grown to include more and more members throughout the world. With that we have created our guidelines and manuals to advise the fellowship a way to facilitate growth through star ng new C.A. meetings. At some point new types of meeting were included in both the WSM and the pamphlet “Yes, You can start a C.A. Meeting”. The wording of the part of new meetings are as follows:

ONLINE MEETINGS:
Email meetings – These are email based and run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Voice meetings – These are voice only, voice over internet protocol meetings and are similar in format to face to face meetings.
These few lines are no longer sufficient, as they don’t include Video meetings online via Zoom or other similar platforms. These meeting is not included in either the manual or literature such as “Yes, You can start a C.A. Meeting”. Furthermore, we assume that the future might create possibilities for C.A. meeting in other settings that we know nothing or very little about.
In our discussions we touched the idea that the wording might benefit of being technology neutral to be able to include current and hopefully also future types of meetings and plaftorms. We also debated the actual definition of a C.A. meeting or group. The current wording is clear:

DEFINITION OF A COCAINE ANONYMOUS “GROUP”
Two or more C.A. members meeting regularly to share their experience, strength and hope

with each other, may call themselves a Cocaine Anonymous Group when:
1. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.
2. It is fully self-supporting.
3. Its primary purpose is to help addicts recover through the Twelve Steps of C.A.
4. It has no outside affiliations.
5. It has no opinion on outside issues.
6. Its public relations policy is based on a rac on rather than promo on
We leave the decision of any ac on to the respective committee and have no suggestion or opinion on wording or details regarding, but we believe it would be of great benefit to the fellowship to be up to date and current and reflect the fellowship we have today, and that we seek in the future. We also believe that S&B and LCF could work on these matters in co-operation.

Please note that the legal name of the Fellowship is Cocaine Anonymous World Services (CAWS). There is no such organization as Cocaine Anonymous World Services, Inc. (CAWS, Inc.) and any men on of that organization is incorrect. The World Service Board of Trustees is asking all World Service Conference Committees to review any and all Conference Approved Documents (World Service Manual, Committee Guidelines, etc.) and change any erroneous naming conven on of Cocaine Anonymous World Services, Inc; CAWS, Inc., or anything other than Cocaine Anonymous World Services (CAWS) to the correct nomenclature.
Response: Thank you for the referral. One instance was iden fied in the IT Workbook where the incorrect legal name was listed. The informa on was corrected, and the revised workbook was provided to the office for upload to CA.org.

PRESENTATIONS OF CURRENT ACTIVITIES OR TASKS
App Development & Meeting List Onboarding
The C.A. Meeting Finder App con nued to see strong growth and engagement throughout the year. Monthly Active Users increased steadily, reaching over 9,000 monthly active users by spring 2026, with more than 3,200 meetings listed worldwide. Continued onboarding efforts helped expand representation across Areas, while volunteers worked to connect underserved and unrepresented regions.
Several app improvements and updates were released throughout the year, including:

- Reduced meeting load times and improved performance
- Improved meeting search functionality
- New analytics and reporting tools
- UI modernization and future feature preparation
- Localization support for multiple languages
- Enhanced onboarding and database management
- Addition of the Freedom Fund URL
- Continued maintenance and uptime improvements
The committee also con nued discussions regarding future features and ways the app can further support unity, recovery, and service within the Fellowship.

AI Educational Guidance & Workshops
One of the largest projects this year involved the crea on of the AI Educational Guidance document. The committee spent a few months discussing the role of Ar ficial Intelligence within the Fellowship and carefully approached the topic from an educational standpoint rather than regulatory one.
Discussions focused heavily on:
- Protecting anonymity and privacy
- Avoiding endorsement of specific AI platforms
- Emphasizing that AI is not a replacement for sponsorship or human connection
- Providing balanced, factual, and spiritually grounded guidance
- Educating members on risks, limitations, and best practices
The committee worked collaboratively through both the main IT Committee and the Virtual Services Subcommittee to finalize the document and prepare it for inclusion in the SR-14 package and IT Workbook. Plans were also discussed for future AI educa onal workshops and presentations to help inform the Fellowship on this rapidly evolving topic.
Tradition Violations & Website Reviews
The Website Tradition Violation Chair, Eric H, continued ongoing reviews of Area and District websites throughout the year to help identify possible Tradition concerns and provide guidance where needed. Common issues included missing Sixth Tradition disclaimers, anonymity concerns related to the Eleventh Tradition, incorrect logos, broken links, and outdated content.
Eric H. worked respectfully with trusted servants across many Areas to help resolve concerns while supporting Areas in maintaining compliance with Fellowship principles.
CLOSING COMMENTS:
The WSCIT Committee is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Fellowship through technology, communication, education, and collaboration. This year involved many thoughtful discussions surrounding innovation, responsibility, anonymity, and spiritual

principles. Through it all, the committee remained committed to ensuring that technology continues to support — rather than replace — the human connection that remains at the heart of recovery.
We are deeply grateful to all trusted servants, committee, trustees, developers, and members who contributed their me, experience, and guidance throughout the year. As technology continues to evolve, the committee remains committed to approaching future projects carefully in alignment with the Traditions and Concepts of Cocaine Anonymous.

AI education we need some education on this. This was a large project to create AI educational document to help inform our members. We focused on education of using AI we emphasis AI CAN NOT REPLACE SPONSORSHIP, human connection or FELLOWSHIP.
We need education on do’s and don’ts so we have something to refer to. Addition to websites and working with a lot of different areas.
