IT COMMITTEE REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:
Over the past year the IT Committee has continued to review and add new websites. The committee has also continued to review existing websites linking to www.ca.org

We have worked diligently throughout the year testing different avenues of communicating and doing joint projects via email, Skype, Hangouts and Go to Meeting. Most of our time this year has been spent researching and preparing a PowerPoint presentation “Social Media and our Guiding Traditions” The IT Committee is grateful for the opportunity to assist and help our Fellowship expand in their exciting world of information and technology. Our purpose has continued to be to serve as a resource to our Fellowship in areas of emerging technologies.
We remain mindful, respecting the principles set forth in the Twelve Traditions whilst considering these new capabilities for connection and access.

REFERRALS THAT WERE WORKED ON DURING THE YEAR:
REFERRAL 2014LCF-2 To create a pamphlet similar to the attached AA Guidelines.
Response: Thank you for your referral. The IT Committee is constantly looking at ways to update and improve our guidelines. In 2010 the Committee changed from this format to the current format to allow changes and additions. We have found that this style makes referencing easier. We are in the process of reviewing our current guidelines to streamline/simplify the linking process. Our committee is committed to protecting the traditions, concepts of Cocaine Anonymous as well as the anonymity of our members. We look forward to sharing the new changes at the CAWS 2016 Conference.
