Welcome one and all to the World Service Conference. Some new and some old but each equally important. I am so honored to be a small part of a great big whole. What we do here really matters, to those we may never see but will benefit from our collective efforts. My one piece of advice for the new delegates is this, your area sent you here to do the work for Cocaine Anonymous. Do not be afraid of the microphone. We face new challenges from emerging new fellowships, falling revenues and challenges to retaining our own. One thing that will never change is that Cocaine Anonymous still has the solution and will always carry the message. Cocaine Anonymous is still saving lives and always will. We have to use all of our resources and have all of our committees working together at all levels to maintain and surpass the high standards set forth by past delegates and trustees.
I want to mention that this year instead of our usual unity luncheon we will be having a breakfast buffet out by the pool Friday morning. We are having 12 step meetings nightly after the work is done at night. Some of you might need a meeting before this is over. We also want to encourage those areas without Unity Committees to form them to help promote C.A. unity, share ideas, sponsor workshops and develop new unity traditions. You do not have to be a delegate or on a unity committee to join our merry band of unity lovers on the Unity Link. Committee Introductions
