OPENING REPORT C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2015
ARCHIVE REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:
Good evening! This year we’ll be making C.A. history under the Conference theme of “Working Together, Never Alone”. Since the last Conference the Archive Committee has continued its work toward our goal of completing the Master Archive. Although there was no off-site storage procured during the year, we are grateful to the WSOB for making archival storage a line item in their budget and taking some steps to move closer to appropriate archival temperature and humidity at the WSO. More will be revealed!
We were able, once again, to bring and display C.A. Archives at the 2015 World Service Convention thanks to the WS Convention Committee. An addition to our display this year was a digital PowerPoint. Here is an abridged version of that display. Of special note is a History of C.A. in Canada created by Cameron Freeman, which will be available to you in the cloud.
We hope to be able to expand our efforts to provide a more comprehensive and exciting display in Chicago!
In the meantime, there are archive items displayed in the Conference Office for your enjoyment. Thanks to the Conference Committee for sharing their space with us and Chris Jacque for setting up our Conference exhibit.

We had no post-conference referrals to work on, which is really ok because on this committee we are never short of work to do; it’s clearly cut out for us!
CLOSING COMMENTS:
I’d like to give you a short rundown of what the Archive Committee really does. Steve A. donated a treasure to Archives this year. (Susan reads the story being the item). The item is a 30 day chip from a member of CA in Uganda.
