UNITY COMMITTEE REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:
It is an honor and a privilege to be of service at this level in this capacity. It brings a whole new prospective to the meaning of “being of service”. This year we hope to take the Unity Committee to a new and different direction; kicking it up a notch!
If you have not purchased your Unity lunch ticket please do so as soon as possible, so we can confirm the proper number to our caterer. Cut-off date for ticket sale is Wednesday September 1st at 12 noon! Please see menu on front table.
It’s that time again for submission of the “CATW (Celebrate Around the World) 2011” logo art work. The submission deadline is Thursday Sept 2rd at 12:00pm.
Our theme is “We”. Art must be submitted in JPEG and/or JPG format. All art will be the property of CA.
CA Meetings hosted by CALA location will be announced in daily newsletter. CA meetings will be held early in the morning and late at night. A schedule will be posted on the front tables when information becomes available.

REFERRALS THAT WERE WORKED ON DURING THE YEAR:
Post Conference 2009;
Referral #6323 – Regarding Unity lunch menu. No action taken, this year’s menu addresses concerns of referral.
Referral #6323- Regarding special needs for Unity lunch. This year we are renting 8 chairs for members with special needs. This referral has been turned over to the Conference Committee for consideration, with full support of the Unity Committee.
CLOSING COMMENTS:
This year’s theme “our common welfare should come first”, says that we should put the needs of the Fellowship and its members ahead of our own. As trusted servants we will earnestly try to achieve this goal. Thanks for giving us the opportunity.
