LCF Committee Report

INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:

LCF Committee has been in session throughout the year since the last conference, meeting in an online email group and through a series of 10 conference calls. The Storybook Subcommittee has also been in session throughout the year, meeting in their own online email group as well as through conference calls. Active committee members during the year hail from UK, Canada and the U.S. representing every region of C.A. The conference calls and online groups have worked well to facilitate ongoing progress.

CLOSING COMMENTS:

Those committee members who have remained active throughout the year have given extensive time and service in reading, writing and reviewing the works in progress as well as facilitating minutes and documentation of committee work. Our sub-committee chair has also provided organization and planning to facilitate the storybook sub-committee. My personal thanks to those dedicated people who love C.A. and choose to serve LCF in any capacity.

YOUR INPUT IS WELCOMED AND APPRECIATED. Please pass forward any and all input regarding any LCF pieces to our committee as soon as possible, prior to the committee breakout sessions if possible, so that LCF can address each and every comment. Please ask your questions. Please feel free and welcome to join and participate in this committee.

Jay G. – Pamphlets that were sent out in mailing — what is happening with them?

Sherri H. – They will be discussed in final report.

Jay B. – Is there an estimated time for printing?

Sherri H. – No, but we’re doing everything we can.

David B. – At WSC, a member bid at the auction on a first printing of the second edition Story Book, correct?

Patty F. – No, that was a first edition, first printing.

Michael D. – I got a notice that my story was received. Are the members contacted to let them know if story is accepted?

Sherri H. – Yes. We are waiting for release forms and we will send all the letters out at one time.

John W. – Are the translation procedures related to LCF?

Susan B. – Where are we in the process with meditation book?

Susan B. – How is the information collected?

Sherri H. – So far, it is collected from Story Book and Newsgram submissions.
