1. Session called to order
2. Roll Call
3. 133 votes are present. Quorum is 88.
4. Kevin M.: I feel I must respond in some way to the statement that was read into the record Wednesday night, personally attacking me in some detail, in the form of a referral, regarding alleged actions of mine, and suggesting that I was not fit to hold any position of trust within this Fellowship that I love so dearly.
5. This had to do with a web site operated by the Oklahoma City District of the Oklahoma Area. Without going into detail, I would like to read the last communication I had from the OKC webmaster in regard to my actions:
6. “Kevin, I appreciate your assistance in this matter. You may address all e-mail to my address concerning the OKC web Page. I will be serving as web master of the page for the next year.”
7. You will note that there is a marked difference between this letter and the statement that was read on the floor. At no time have I been contacted by any member of the Oklahoma Fellowship to express any other message regarding my conduct – prior to the referral made on the Conference floor Wednesday night. Nor has any member requested any explanation or confirmation of any of my actions, real or imagined, or any of the circumstances involved.
8. In particular, there was at no time any attempt to verify the allegations made on the floor, which I believe were almost wholly in error.
9. I do regret that some members of the OKC Fellowship feel that they were not properly consulted well prior to the events in question. However, as this issue had persisted for more than a year and I had passed the information to the appropriate people within the service structure, I expected that such consultation had occurred.
10. In closing, I apologize to the Conference if any actions of mine caused – in any way – the display they were subjected to on Wednesday night.
11. TRUSTEE ELECTION COMMITTEE
12. We had 5 vacancies.
13. Atlantic South Regional Trustee will be Terry Knight, from Atlanta, Georgia.
14. The Pacific South Regional Trustee will be David Choate.
15. The Pacific North Regional Trustee will be Heidi Jonathan.
16. Second trustee at large position will be filled Jahi Boseda.
17. World Service Office Trustee position – no candidate received 2/3 ratification.
18. Scott S: Would you please describe the procedures that were processed to
19. Walter: This is described in the guidelines in our manual. Each candidate must receive 2/3 in each vote.
20. Scott S.: Motion: In accordance with article 8 of the conference charter, the Conference approve the election of the conference approved nominee fore the position of world service office trustee, Kevin Murphy. Seconded.
21. Scott S. spoke on the motion describing that we will be having a great deal of turnover in the Office. We need qualified people, and Kevin has these qualifications. Kevin has been here for at least 9 conferences, and has served the board for at least 3 years. Has been very involved with the Internet. It is my opinion that the WSOB will suffer a dis-service if this position is not filled. According to our Concepts, this body has the right to approve the selection, or non-selection of any individual brought before this body.

22. DOORBELL
23. Andy W: I want to speak to the process of the TEC. In the 8 years that I’ve been here, there have been a lot of difficult things that needed to be done. I have learned to trust the processes, and I think that the rest of the election process is one that works. I think a lot of effort went into this process by the nine trustees, and the six delegates that served on this committee. I don’t question the ability of this body to overturn this decision, but I ask that the process be trusted.
24. Discussion continued.
25. Walter: When a person does not receive a 2/3rd ratification vote, the position is not filled, as spelled out in our WSM guidelines.
26. Motion to call for the vote. Motion passes.
27. Vote on the main motion. Motion fails
28. Walter: That concludes my report. The trustee at large, who resides in L.A
