C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2009
UNITY COMMITTEE REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:
As WSC Unity Chair, I am delighted, excited and looking forward to the 2009 WSC. I must say it is always a pleasure to be of service in CA at any capacity. The committee is off to a great start and ready to get to work. The WS Conference Unity Luncheon is all set with pre-order tickets in, well in time to secure the caterer and your response to the pre-order request is much appreciated.
Please note…..the deadline is Wednesday Sept. 2nd, at the last break from the conference floor. No later than this.
It’s that time again for submission of the “CATW (Celebrate Around the World) 2010” logo art work. The submission deadline is Thursday Sept. 3rd at 12:00pm.
Our theme is “Farfrümusin” (Far from using). Art must be submitted in JPEG and/or JPG format. All art will be the property of CA.
Also, there are CA Meetings hosted by CALA at the pool side during our conference. CA meetings will be held early in the morning and late at night. See our speaker schedules on the front tables.
I am looking forward to “Unity, Celebration of Life” here this week at the conference and to fellowship with our members from all over the world who come with such joy and enthusiasm to do the work of CA. I LOVE IT!!

Unity-
To enhance our communication and international outreach among the diverse elements within the fellowship in the interest of carrying the C.A. message and to promote CA unity.

Ian Young: Is the Unity committee active throughout the year?
Waheedah Muhammad: Yes
Willie Austin: Throughout the year, we work on Convention Theme, CATW artwork, guidelines, catering for Unity Luncheon. We are looking forward to new members joining us.
Waheedah Muhammad: We also do a Unity Day at the CAWS Convention. We have a Yahoo Group that helps us share ideas and solutions to problems occurring throughout the world.
