CLOSING COMMENTS:
As our Fellowship continues to grow, technologies continue to evolve and become a bigger part of our daily communications. Therefore this committee continues to serve our Fellowship by providing information and recommendations to help us evolve and utilize every available and new emerging technology in its best light.
As a new or continuing delegate, you will enjoy the fun time shared on the IT Committee. We welcome the technically challenged to the expert who are interested in technology, or members who merely wish to express their opinion and want change. We welcome EVERYONE! Please consider serving on the IT Committee, where you will always feel like you made a difference.
In Love and Service, Marc Harvey – IT Vice Chair
Bob Lemon: Because technology is expanding constantly, is there any way as what is on these websites, what they are linking up to, etc.?
Marc Harvey: we constantly review other websites and new websites wanting to link up with us. We have a manual that states what can and cannot be linked up.
Mike Seden: people coming to me wanting to have group websites, etc. Do you have any guidance? Seems to make more to police.
Richard Schaffer: we would encourage you to bring groups to come to IT committee and bring their information so that we can help with guidelines and make an informed decision about make additions to the Area website. We neither encourage or discourages having Areas/Districts from having websites.
Marc Harvey: In notebooks, you will see a copy of the IT guidebook.
Kevin Murphy: Structure & Bylaws are next.
Susan Bredau: in interest of time, could we forego introduction of committee members.
Kevin Murphy: the committee should consider time when making report.
