CLOSING REPORT
C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2017 UNITY REPORT

INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS

Welcome to the Unity committee 2017. We hope you enjoyed your 12 hugs before breakfast. The purpose of the Unity committee is to enhance communication and outreach among diverse elements within the fellowship of Cocaine Anonymous in the interest of carrying the message to the addict who still suffers and promoting C.A. Unity. We would especially like to thank Rob W. for being our speaker after the Unity breakfast.

The committee is excited to have many first time conference attendees join Unity with enthusiasm. We are excited to bring our passion and our ideas for Celebrate around the World back to our areas and we hope you will too. In order to increase the number of submissions we receive for CATW artwork we have added a request for submissions on the Unity page of the CA.ORG website. We encourage you all to make this information available to your area.

CLOSING COMMENTS

I am so honored to have had the opportunity to work with this great group of Unity enthusiasts from across the world. Being the chair of this committee has been such an awesome experience and every interaction has renewed my excitement and has truly inspired me. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done and so grateful for the friends I’ve made. I’d like to give special thanks to our Trustee Suzanne V. and our Director at Large Alesia F. Their support has been invaluable.

Unity is an often overlooked committee that desperately needs your support. The committee has spent many hours discussing the CATW event and artwork. We will do our best to get the artwork and information out to you well in advance of the March date or whenever you choose to celebrate. Please disperse the information to your areas and districts. We’d love to get photos and videos from your events so we can further inform people at the next conference with a video montage!!.

Thank you all for your love and support.

Respectfully Submitted:
Joni E.
