CLOSING REPORT
C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2017 CAWS H&I COMMITTEE REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS
Hello, Chris M., the new C.A. World Service Conference H&I Chair. According to the WSC Committee’s statement of purpose, our H&I committee is “to provide assistance and guidance to individual Fellowships as well as service Areas that initiate hospital and
institutional activity.” Such a simple statement for such a broad scoped endeavor! This year we completed a global H&I contact list, sent questionnaires out on our initial communication, and thoroughly researched the H&I LIFELINE concept with our Arizona H&I, who is successfully using it. 9 new members blending with 10 old members makes it even more exciting. Here are our members followed by the sub-committee chairs with their statement of purpose.

Creative Writing Sub-Committee
Statement of Purpose: Our tasks as the Creative Writing Committee are to encourage members to enthusiastically share their H&I experience, strength, and hope with the fellowship of Cocaine Anonymous through our regularly published NewsGram. By sharing these experiences worldwide, we continue to carry this message to the still suffering addict, which in turn will inspire them. We are committed to providing and collecting release forms and submissions of these inspirational testimonies.
Goal for the Year: We continue to strive in our efforts to increase the amount of NewsGram submissions, stories for the H&I Corner, while timely submitting stories to the editor on a regular basis. We also will follow up on all commitments from the fellowship to provide articles and are willing to assist in the preparation of their stories. We endeavor to keep the NewsGram in circulation worldwide as it has already been proven that these stories help save lives.
