Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm with the Serenity Prayer.
Mary C. read the Fifth Tradition.
Pam 0. read the minutes from April 27, 1989 Board Meeting. Motion to accept minutes as read. Seconded and passed.
OFFICE MANAGER* S REPORT – Mary C.
1st Quarter tax filings completed and sent. A letter will be going out to subscribers of the Connection, along with the latest issue, continuing the subscriptions for 2 years. Ways of getting the computer set up to handle both the delegates mailing list and subscriptions was discussed. The PSA video “London Bridges falling Down” is on hold.
NEWSGRAM
A letter was received from the South Bay fellowship commending the Newsgram. Nancy T. submitted her resume to the Board for the position of editor. Carla A. offered graphics and art-work services. Nancy T. is a print broker and will obtain price quotes for printing the Newsgram and the Connection. Helene suggested that Nancy submit a rough copy of the Newsgram to the WSO Board prior to printing. The next issue should be out in 10 days. Nancy should attend Board Meetings on the second Thursday of each month.
PUBLICATIONS COMMITTEE – Carla A.
Mitch G. is the new chairman of the committee. The printer for the new literature dropped the blue lines by Carla’s house Saturday. They were looked over and it was discovered that the art-work for the “self test” was missing, most margins weren’t large enough, and some words were misspelled or missing. They will have to start over again with the blue lines, and if all goes well, blue lines should be signed this week. The new target date for the literature is mid-June. Bills were submitted for reimbursement.
TREASURY – Bob C.
Balance of Trust Account: $12,896.41
Balance of Operating Account: $1,959.40
Total funds in bank: $15,396.41

Bob C. would like the check-signing procedure brought before the Board of Trustees to find a better, more frequent way to have checks signed. He suggested the possibility of a phone vote. Helene will discuss this with Ray. It has been discovered that an interest-bearing account for the Dance Around the World funds cannot be opened since CAWSO is a non-profit corporation.
