OFFICER REPORTS:

Chair: Written report attached
Vice Chair: Attended convention. Attended conference committee meetings.
Treasurer: Attended CAWS2000 convention. Approximate income CAWS2000 is approximately $95K, with hotel bill outstanding. Have had several discussions with CAWS2000 committee.
Secretary: Attended convention. Attended joint board meeting. Attended Internet committee meeting.
Director-At-Large: Written report promised.
World Service Trustee: Will see revised hotel contract for CAWS2001 next week.
Pacific South Trustee: Attended convention. Attended many meetings. Reports that several “volunteers” are now requesting payment for unauthorized recordings of portions of the storybook, and that Louisiana Area has referred these requests to WSO.
World Service Office Trustee: Attended convention and meetings. Conference call.
Office Manager:
Written report attached. Several requests for CAWS2000 refunds have been submitted.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Webmaster: Trustees have requested a web page for feedback to individual Trustees.
NEW BUSINESS:
Motion (Joy/Steve): Loan CAWS2001 $750 for registration forms.
- Passes with opposition.
Motion: (Joy/Kevin): Loan CAWS2002 $1070 for pre-convention T-shirts to raise interest and support for convention.
- Passes with opposition.

Motion: (Joy/Steve): Give CAWS2001 seed money ($2500: $500 committee, $2000 trust account).
- Passes with opposition
Motion: (Kevin/Joy): To require a deposit with each hotel reservation, refundable only if room is canceled at least 14 days prior.
- Tabled.
Motion: (Joy/Susan): Authorize refund to Kenneth E $99 for CAWS99. Board had requested explanation when request first presented, but explanation delayed due to disability. Passed.
