MINUTES COCAINE ANONYMOUS WORLD SERVICE BOARD MEETING

Meeting called to order at 6:45 by Willie. Dana read minutes.
Willie has made the arrangement for LAGSO to give CAWS $3,000.00, on the contingency we write a proposed budget for the Conference and give them a receipt. Willie will write LAGSO a formal Thank you letter.
I. OLD BUSINESS
A. The Trademark Attorney called Willie to let him know that Texas called requesting more proof. The Attorney feels Texas will be giving up the Trademark not only soon, but easily.
B. Howard will get one (1) dozen cassette tapes as well as typewriter paper, ribbons, correcting tape, name tags and badges.
C. Bob M. will donate two (2) typewriters for the Conference.
D. Instead of using the Hotels copier, which is much too expensive, Bob. M. will donate a copier on the contingency someone volunteers to pick it up. Richard L. has volunteered to do just that.
E. Howard obtained Copyright applications, he gave them to Dana to type.
F. Jennifer will have literature stamps next week.
G. Willie spoke to a member from San Diego who would like to participate on the Reception Committee with Jennifer, Dana and Neil.

II. NEW BUSINESS
A. Richard will check into getting an account for CAWS at QuickPrint. He will get the best price possible.
B. Jerry motioned to raise the price of literature to a IOC profit per piece. Motion passed.
C. Neil will go ahead with his proposed rates for postage, (see attached) until further notice.
D. Michael is having difficulty communicating with George, who is the person responsible at this point for the computer printing of the National Directory. It was decided that if Michael did not get this handeled by Saturday, the 1st, Willie’s secretary will type the Directory and Michael will have copies made.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 with the Serenity Prayer.
Next meeting will be February 6th, at 6:30. This is the final Board Meeting in L.A. before the Conference, it is imparative that everyone be present.
