Welcome to the 2011 World Service Conference. The purpose of the Structure and Bylaws Committee is to formulate bylaws, guidelines, and structures by which Cocaine Anonymous can operate, day to day, at Conference and globally. Our goal as a committee is to leave this Conference knowing that we have performed our duties and responsibilities with integrity. I am excited about this years‟ Conference and our committee. We have a wonderful mix of talent experience and enthusiasm. Our committee has worked diligently between Conferences to answer referrals and update the World Service Manual. The WSM has been entirely retyped using consistent fonts and page breaks. This was a herculean task and we can thank Deborah W. (your new conference secretary) and our female version of Hercules for that. The WSM in my opinion is the foundation document of our fellowship. The document should represent our commitment. Thank you, Madam Secretary, for improving the quality and appearance of our manual. You are only on loan to the Conference, we get you back about your term is completed. The conference calls were significantly attended all year. Thank you, Joy, for your steady leadership and guidance. You are more than our trustee advisor. You are team mate as well as a coach. Brother Earl, your status as an elder statesman is intact. Your timely comments and inputs were invaluable. We have some amazing folks on this year‟s committee and if I miss someone please accept my sincere apologies.

CLOSING COMMENTS:
The committed participation of our team has produced some amazing results. Our group addressed every single past and current referral of which we were aware. The dedication of this committee does our fellowship proud. We all experience a feeling of accomplishment that is well deserved. We are blessed with an appropriate enhancement of self esteem that comes as a direct result of selfless service to the fellowship as a whole. Be a part of our group. There is room for you and your ideas. One person can make a difference in this fellowship and the process that is Structure and By-laws. You are that one. You will surely

return to your respective Areas with an enhanced view and understanding of the prescribed structure of this fellowship as set out in the World Service Manual.
