lan Young – you meant it to be similarly different?

Monica Suyker – INT’L OUTREACH
The Int’i Outreach Committee has been working on-line throughout the year. We have been working with 2 new meetings in Santiago, Dominican Republic and our member was present at the first CA meeting in Germany and the first meeting on the island of Menorca, Baleares, Spain.
We have also been working with the WSO and giving suggestions which resulted in the current CA Literature Translation Policy, for which we are excited to continue to work with them. With the WSO in the lead at this wonderful starting point, we wish to be able to share with them our Experience Strength and Hope to maintain Consistency, Integrity and Quality of the content of future translations for Cocaine Anonymous as a whole.
We will also be working with interested individuals in the Translation of the CATW logo. And at this time we would also like to re-introduce a very valuable tool to us which is the Int’i Request… document. Unfortunately the last time it was given to this body, it was somehow LOST IN THE TRANSLATON.
However, we would URGE you to take this to your meetings and find those persons interested in helping in the Translation of our work to contact us through the WSO and/or by contacting UN1TY@CA.ORG

Steve Edwards – Any questions?
Vinny Martin – since the artwork was approved can I get a copy?
Waheedah Muhammad – l believe every delegate will leave with a copy, i believe we can pull it off the website also.
Bill Bermeier – Isn’t it the committee’s responsibility this report be filled out properly and turned into the chair?
Waheedah Muhammad- It was a collective effort.
Bill Bermeier ~ I thought it was improper to put the blame on one person.
Whaheeda Muhammad – that was not intended.
Roy Ricard – is it possible to put the artwork on the office computer so we can get that?
Whaheeda Muhammad – we can ask the office.
Steve Edwards – Any other questions? Thank you for your hard work. 1 need to advise you I received another written notice of a motion to rescind that will be presented to the floor on September 1 regarding a motion that was passed by the conference in regard to referral #5031 regarding closed meetings. Now instead of requiring a 2/3 majority, a simple majority will allow this motion. Be back at 7:45. Thank you.
*****BREAK*****
7:55 pm Steve Edwards called the Conference to order.
Scott Botz – checked to see how everyone felt about the temperature in the room. Also, if your committee is done, please let him know so that we can release the room to the Hotel.
