C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2006
UNITY REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:
The Unity Committee would like to welcome all new and returning conference members to the 2006 CAWS Conference: “Open Arms, Open Hearts, Open Minds”.
We would like to invite each of you to our annual Unity Luncheon at the park on Friday. Tickets are on sale now. The cost of the meal is $5.00. We will be serving a hot meal. We made every effort to make this a free event. We apologize for our need to charge. We will make every attempt to make this a free event in the future. We thank you in advance for your support and attendance.
We have received artwork submissions for Celebrate Around the World. If you have any artwork submissions, please submit copies to the Unity Committee prior to the beginning of committee breakout sessions.
The Unity Committee was active throughout the year and conducted business via telephone and internet. At this year’s CAWS Convention we hosted an ice cream social event, which was a huge success. We thank everyone who attended and supported this event.
Throughout the year we have been in the process of revising and creating new guidelines. During the year, our International Outreach sub-committee was active and responded to a new member in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There are approximately six new members who have started a CA group. The International Outreach Sub-committee Chair helped these new members translate the meeting format into Portuguese.

We welcome any new delegates interested in joining us in Unity to come and be a part of our committee. We anticipate that this will be a great conference for us and look forward to continuing to be of service.
