- Kevin F.: We will be bringing a complete set of guidelines to the floor this year for consideration, that would help guide future committees in putting on a Conference. We did our part to try to tighten our budget, without decreasing the efficiency of the Conference. You should have received that in your delegate mailing, under the Standing Rule 14, because it is a document.
- The conference will be held in this exact location/same hotel next year, and we will be negotiating with three other hotels nearby for 2003 forward. Vanessa Matthews has been very ill over the past year, and was under doctor’s orders not to participate at this year’s conference. Welcome to Kathy Honesty. And thank you, Kellie, for your help so far with this year’s conference.
- We met with the committee chairs this morning to help facilitate a smoother running conference this year, and spoke about the referral process, etc.
- We had quite a number of referrals at the end of last year’s conference…mostly logistical, some are housekeeping, such as the guidelines.
