John Whitaker» Unity is what brings us together. When we have problems at the Conference, the Unity Committee works to keep things calm. Outreach has been working the WSO for translations and other things. Michael Skylar – Is lunch going to be in the park this year? Willie Bailey- Yes.
Yvette Holman- You give us a logo and we do thing to participate. Are the delegates responsible for CATW or is it unity that’s responsible for that?
Willie Bailey – 1 believe each area is autonomous in that area. In LA it’s practiced that CATW has been under the Unity committee.
Barry Haynes – What World Service Convention Committee guidelines is that in? It’s not in 2005, 2006 and it is not in 2006 or 2007.
David Booth – You are correct it was moved as of last year. We accepted it but did not get it in the guidelines. At the end of this conference it will be in there. Barry Haynes- Do you have the guidelines?
David Booth – We have it.
Carl Wariick – It is my understanding CATW is a delegate function to finance their trip here. Who in fact should do this event? Delegate, Events person or Unity? David Booth – it is my opinion every delegate in this room has an obligation to promote CATW. One of the purposes is to fund delegates to the conference so should be active in promoting it. it the Unity and Delegate want to take it on, all groups are autonomous. We haven’t defined that in our guidelines.
Rose Jones – POI – i believe I saw CATW on page 8 under Unity of the delegate manual under Unity.
David Booth – It is. Thank you.
Steve Edwards – Thank you.
