Susan B.: Thanks Patrick…
WSC Archive Committee
OPENING REPORT
C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2012
While sometimes committee reports can seem more self or committee serving than specifically informative it is difficult to really let you all know, how much we do year round while serving our Fellowship. This has been a very productive year for Archives. Having a group of dedicated committee members is what has made this year one of the best yet. We started out with a bang! By facilitating the production of the Commemorative Chips while working with World Service Office Board and DOO, and we are currently engaged in creating a discount program on all current and future chip combinations, as well as a discount for bulk sales orders.
The members of the Archive Committee who live in Southern California visited the World Service Office twice this year and began working on organizing the Archive. Many thanks to the CAWS office manager, Linda F., for making herself available on weekends and ordering supplies for this endeavor. We made a dent in the 50+ boxes that comprise the Archive and it’s been an inspiring start.
CAWS Conference 2012 marks our first year of using our guidelines as they relate to Archiving. We will be scanning and categorizing the Archive and begin implementing the structure as it’s described in our guidelines for the first time; and we are very excited.

We have included in this report a list of agenda items, which we will be addressing while at this conference. We want to thank all of our loyal referral makers for keeping us busy this year, as we look forward to developing this committee’s potential and we look forward to reporting our progress in a few days.
