Chairs Opening Remarks
Good morning everyone, and thank you all for being here as we open our Quarter 1 meeting. I want to start by expressing my gratitude for the dedication and service each of you brings to this board and the fellowship as a whole. As many of you know, I faced some health challenges earlier this quarter and had to step back for a period of time—during that time,I’mespecially grateful to our Vice Chair, Stuart, for stepping in and ensuring continuity in our work.I’mhappy to report that my health is improving, and I’m fully committed to finishing out this term strong. This quarter has already shown our resilience and ability to move forward together, and I look forward to the thoughtful discussion, collaboration, and decisions ahead as we continue serving with unity and purpose.

Dear Fellowship,
Recently, WSBT discovered new information indicating that aa has not granted us permission to use a long form of the 12 concepts. We are only permitted to use a short form. As a result of this development, a motion was made and passed at the 2025 World Service conference to discontinue the use of the long form
of the 12 concepts. This change took effect at the conclusion of the 2025 WSC. From that point forward, the long form of the concepts in printed from will no longer be used. In response to a referral, the structures and bylaws committee has formed an ad hoc committee to begin the process of creating CA’s own 12 concepts. Thank you for your support and patience as we work through this situation.
Sincerely. WSBT
