Meeting called or order at 6:45. Motion made not to read the minutes of the previous meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
Motion made to suspend old business and go to new business.
NEW BUSINESS
A. Motion was made for Willie to send letter to delegates
deciding to change conference fromReno to LosAngeles and
to keep the conference within 50miles fromLos Angeles
in the future. Next conference will be March 22 and 23 at Woodland Hills Marriot. Motion passed.
B.The next convention which is in San Francisco will be at the Ramada Renaissaince. Cost of room is $75.00 per night. Motion was made to have Willie re-negotiate contract with this hotel. Motion passed.
C. Motion was made to tell San Francisco that they could
spend $1,000 on entertainment and anything above and beyond that they must have fund raiser on their own.
D. SanFrancisco wants to open a checking account for
convention. This was discussed and it was decided that all registration, etc. will be done out of the CAWS office. A motion was made and passed with regard to this.
E. Howard is to call Bob McNamera re inspecting books.
Bob agreed since Ken Lieb is working with us he does not need to come down.
F. Milwaukee is buying literature from Chicago. It was
decided that this matter of literature would be tabled until
we own the copyright. Then all states will have to buy
literature from us.

G. Michael Freed has resigned from CAWS.
H. Bob M. made a motion to nominate Neil B. and Willie 0. to the Board for another 2 years. They have accepted. Motion passed.
I. Dana D. is no longer a Board member due to missing 3 or more meetings.
J. Jennifer nominated Willie O. as special events coordinator. Motion passed. Willie accepted.
K. Conference minutes were reviewed and discussed.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:30 with the Serenity Prayer. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 1986.
