REFERRALS THAT WERE FORWARDED TO OTHER COMMITTEES:
REFERRALS STILL IN COMMITTEE:

- We have continued work on developing a CA app for the fellowship, with advancements in database setup (for the meeting map/locator), and discussions around the look and feel of the app, as well as planning out the budget needed to complete the programming. Adding a new “Project Manager” from within the fellowship has added renewed energy to see this project to completion.
- We have partnered with PI to continue to develop workable standards that guide every level of the fellowship in best practices online
- To that end, we are working on a revised IT Handbook, and renewed, expanded guidance for social media, and the expanded world of online meetings
- We have also partnered with the Online Meeting Area and S&B on the concept of an Online Meetings Committee. As a committee, we believe the proposal still may need refining, but in concept, we support the idea of a separate committee focused on guidance for the online meeting space.
- We have participated in discussions with Long Term Planning on revisions to the org website. As a committee, again, we do not feel the site needs major revamping, but we will support the office and interested parties in moving any desired changes forward.
- We are raising the issues of Google AdWords, Global payment systems, Privacy concerns, and ease of website management to the WSBT where theirinbvolvement or point of view will be needed to move forward on developing longer term solutions for the Fellowship.
CLOSED REFERRALS:
CLOSING COMMENTS:
As a Fellowship, we are learning to live in this new, transformed world of greater online innovation and participation – Zoom meetings, What’s App Fellowship Groups, and a world where many members are getting most, if not all, their sobriety fellowship on the internet. It is a new world for us all, and our committee continues teamwork diligently to try and make sense of it all, put things into the best context that respects our steps and traditions and continues our goal to carry the message via the newest technology.
Respectfully Submitted: in Love and Service,
Wesley B
WSCIT Chair
