Dear Delegates and Interested Parties:
The Board of Trustees has asked me to write to you and share with you the latest information relating to our World Service Office.
On March 26, 1987, 10 of the 12 Directors of the World Service Office Board resigned. (See enclosed minutes)
A two-week transition and restructuring period was set up with some of the directors who remained on to help.
The Board of Trustees would now like to announce that the reorganization as per conference structure and the twelve concepts has tentatively been completed.
The new World Service Board of Directors now has five directors and 8 standing committees in place and operating. (See enclosed minutes)
The new board members are:
Chairperson: Coco C. — Venice
Vice-Chairperson: Rusty F. — Long Beach
Secretary: Helene H. — San Fernando Valley
Treasurer: Linda H. — Beverly Hills
Director: Mike L. — Riverside County
These directors are serving on a temporary basis until approval at the Board of Trustees’ meeting in July, and ratification at the conference in November.
The Board of Trustees feel we now have a World Service Office which will aggressively fill the world needs of our fellowship.
The new World Service Office Board believes communication and service Is the key to world unity of the fellowship. They will be sending out a bimonthly newsletter, with Board minutes and current financial reports.

The Board of Trustees have hired a C.P.A. to conduct an audit of the World Service Office books for the fiscal year of June 1, 1985 to May 31, 1986. (See enclosed Financial Report.) At the end of this month, another financial report will be completed for this fiscal year and will be forwarded, to you.
We will keep you informed as our structure and growth develops further. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I want to thank you for your continued support of Cocaine Anonymous.
