The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the Serenity Prayer,
Tony C. read the long version of the 7th Tradition.
Lisa C. read the minutes of the October 20, 1988 meeting.
Motion: To accept the minutes as read with corrections. Seconded and passed.
TREASURERS REPORT – Bob C.
Trust Acct. – $10,218.04
Operating Acct. – $7,421.65
Income – Chips & Literature – $5342.84
Donations – $16658.85
Bills are currently paid. Computer has been bought for $600,00 instead of $700*00* It is a 40 MB Hard Disk computer. The computer is currently being kept at Bob C.’s, office. Two checks were written to the total of $1,059.00. This included the computer, printer and a one year service contract. Bob C, has met with the accountant and will be meeting again with him on Monday the 14th of November. A $100.00 deposit was given to the accountant for their services.
Bob C. invited Tina G. to attend Board Meeting on behalf of the Los Angeles GS0.
Tina G.- As of Nov, 11th. LA GS0 has decided to donate $9,000.00 to the World Service Office. This will be made in 2 instalments. The 1st is to be paid by next GSO meeting and the 2nd to be paid sometime in Feb. 1989.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
CONNECTION – Susie S.
The new issue is now available. 2,000 copies are available for sale. The last issue sold approx. 2,700. A letter will be put in with the delegates mailing and will be sent out with each edition. Susie would like to be reimbursed for expenses. Thanks to Susie for a wonderful edition of the Connection.
NEWSGRAM – Reggie L.
Susie sent her aplogies as she was unable to make the meeting. The Newsgram went out in mail to the board members for review. Each board member needs to commit to distribution of the Newsgram, It was suggested that Steve P. write something for PI, Tony C. something for Chips and Literature and Bob C. something for Finances.

PUBLIC INFORMATION – Steve P.
PI met and submitted for the boards review, letters to be used in response for requests for information. Discussion was tabled and the letters were given back to P I committee to review and correct. Committee will meet Sat. Nov. 12th in San Diego. Steve P. then announced that he would be leaving the board of WSO after the next conference in Aug of 1999.
OLD BUSINESS
- Computer has been purchased.
- We are still in the market for a new office.
- Second Thursday of the month is when we will have the committee reports.
- Decembers meetings for the board will be held oh Wed the 7th and Thurs. the 22nd,
- We are still looking for volunteers to work at the WSO.
- We are still looking for a part-time employee, 20hrs a week at $5.00 an hour.
NEW BUSINESS
- A) The 6th Year Anniversary Celebration of Cocaine Anonymous is to be held on November 26th at the Veterans Auditorium in Culver City. Meeting starts at 7:30 pm and the dance at 9:00pm. Speakers were picked by the LA GSO.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 pm with the Lord’s Prayer.
