John Bodkin, World Service Trustee
Patty Flanagan, Office Manager
Positions Vacant: Secretary
Members absent: Earl Henderson, WSO Trustee
Visitors:
Meeting called to order at 7:08 p.m. Judy read the 2nd Tradition; Patty read the 2nd Concept.
Current open position on Board – There’s no sobriety requirement. Prospective applicants must attend 2 WSOB meetings before submitting resumes.
Future open position on Board – Treasurer doesn’t have the time to devote to do the job as thoroughly as it needs to be done and will therefore need to step down. Will be able to stay on no later that November 2005. Although being a CPA isn’t a requirement, it would be very helpful. Replacement would at least need to have very strong accounting background.
- Motion (Judy/John) to approve the minutes of 04/28/05 as submitted passes.
OLD BUSINESS:
- Motion (Patty/Judy) to take off the table the motion to approve CAWS 2006 $1,500 DJ expense pending TNC approval passes.
- Original motion passes.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Conference Call with Teri Knight:
- Committee wants to sell opportunity-drawing tickets at Convention with prize of “their entire weekend that they paid for” – which means free hotel room, 2 people, 4 nights plus registration? If so and tickets are sold for $5.00, they’d need to sell 500 tickets, assuming above prize. Who’s going to sell the tickets? Where? Cannot approve without further information.
