The WSBT would like to extend sincere thanks to all participants at this year’s World Service Conference. Thank you to the entire Fellowship for allowing us to be of service, and for your ongoing support. It is truly a pleasure to serve in this capacity.

Your WSBT would like to thank the WSOB for their service and commitment to the fellowship of C.A. We will continue to work closely with our Office Board assisting when requested and required throughout the upcoming 12 months.

We will continue to be prudent with Trustee expenditures and be mindful of the budget.

The TEC conducted business and followed the process of electing new Trustees.

We are extremely excited for the upcoming CAWS 2020 Convention “Deep in the Heart of Texas,” and look forward to seeing each of you in Austin!

COMMITTEE WORK THAT RESULTED IN MOTIONS

MOTION: MOTION: To have the WSOT remain on the WSBT for one additional year, with term ending at close of conference 2021.

Trevor S. – Any debate?

Wade S. – The WSBT considered a lot of factors moving forward, there will be 5 trustees rotating off the board next year, also the current doo will be retiring, thinking of the impact of all of these, the WSOT is a communicator between the WSBT and WSOB. We gave a lot of thought, and our current will be ending this term, and are asking to retain for one additional year to gain continuity. there is no

WSBT 2019-4 from Susan B. OSA (In-Conference)

There was information in your opening report about seeing to it that our trademarks are up to date and used properly. C.A. is not accessible to those addicts with disabilities who need available technology to interact with the world around them. Although addiction could be seen as a disability on its own, we are neglecting those with sight, sound and mobility challenges on our website, thereby not fulfilling our primary purpose. The OSA website faces these same issues.

Here’s a good place to start: https://www.npgroup.net/blog/ada-compliance-checklist-is-your-website-accessible/

In love and service,

World Service Board of Trustees

Trevor S. – Any questions for this committee?

Stu E. – Thank you so much for your service. Question for the fellowship there was a desire to change the 11th tradition to reflect the changes in the media. I believe it was a social media push. What is the update?

Jeannette J. – The update is in the opening report, we referred to S&B and it has been referred back. it will be worked on it this year, an Ad Hoc committee has been built to work on that referral within the WSBT.

John R. – With all the talk about fiscal stuff. has the board implemented a quarterly call with the chair committee . a conference call that transfers monthly/quarterly report from the chairs to the trustees so that they could be more informed.

Jeannette J. – Duly noted.

Trevor S. – No more questions, lets thank the committee
