SUMMARY OF COMMITTEE MATTERS WORKED ON THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

The CA Virtual Museum website – https://cawsarchives.org – continues to expand showcasing more than 660 C.A. objects from around the world.
The work on collecting and cataloging a searchable database of all Conference, WSBT and WSOB minutes (1982 to present) continues—we now have a complete record of all Conference minutes from inception to 2018. We also have more than 50% of all WSBT and WSOB minutes from inception to 2018.
We are continuing the ongoing process of building a historical record of the growth of C.A. Areas around the world. To accomplish this we’ve created an online form for collecting Area Histories. Please submit your Area’s history at:
We have started the process of building a chronological time-line of C.A.’s history. This time-line has been constructed from Conference, WSBT and WSOB minutes, Newsgram publications, and newspaper reprints and spans C.A.’s inception (Nov. 18, 1982) to present day.
For ongoing news about the Archive Committee and its efforts, check your quarterly Newsgram issues for submitted articles.

CLOSING COMMENTS
The C.A. World Service Archive Committee continues to collect and preserve the ongoing history of C.A.’s World activities. This historical record can tell us more about our membership, our committees, our procedures and most importantly, how we got from way back when to where we are now, which can have a tremendous bearing on where C.A. is going. The Archive tells us stories and increases our

understanding of who we are—locally and globally. This dynamic not only focuses our C.A. identity, it also facilitates C.A. Unity.
C.A. is an expanding global concern and our responsibility to preserve and protect C.A.’s legacy leaves us with much to do. Please join the C.A. World Service Archive Committee and play an integral part in protecting C.A.’s future, by preserving C.A.’s past.
Your Trusted Servant,
Cameron F. (Southern Ontario C.A. Area)
2019 C.A. World Service Archive Chair
