Presentation of PI concept to the WSBT
*Motion to approve concept of PI “storyboard” with understanding of the following changes: needs more diversity, non-identifying physical appearances (tattoos, jewelry), or location identifiers, and change the final text over to Cocaine Anonymous … not a singleness of substance, but a singleness of purpose”. *Motion to decline the sale of the pre-convention memorabilia for CAWS 2009 at the World Service Conference, due to the lack of cooperation regarding the spending expenditure guidelines that are outlined in the WSC Convention Committee. Seconded/Passed.
Discussion included the understanding that the person that made the purchase would be reimbursed, but that the committee would be charged for the reimbursement.

Discussion with the current and incoming WSBT was to allow the CAWS 2009 to pursue their t- shirt distribution with a change to the DEA: to reflect the words DENVER, ENTHUSIASM, AGENCY .

Thank you all for the insight at dinner and I look forward to working
with you all. Regarding Denver’s DEA shirt, I have returned the shirt
to Patty already and we are going to get with the three individuals
from Denver attending this conference to let them know of the Trustee’s decision to allow the Denver Enthusiasm Agency be added and spelled out as directed on the existing shirts for distribution. A firm conversation has already taken place and will be reiterated as to the inappropriateness of seeking “forgiveness instead of permission”.
