AGENDA WSBT CONFERENCE CALL

  1. Chair’s opening remarks

I would like to make amends for being lacks in my duties. This quarter there where areas I needed to pay more attention to details. In the case Kim’s response to Brian T. the process is the Regional Trustee get the first crack at it. There after we are to go off the record and discuss it, not firing back and forth online. Secondly in the case of Earl’s emergency motion, Kim had point out something to me, thank you. The delay in the minutes that’s me not assisting the secretary. I will in sure you these lacks will not happen again.

OLD BUSINESS

  1. CAWS Convention updates:
  • CAWS 2008 (Trevor) Things are well.
  • CAWS 2009 (Bobbie) Steady working. Sent out the Registration flyer to get approved. The office will get it ASAP. Submitted 3 bids for printing of registration forms.
  • CAWS 2010 (Kim) Wisconsin had a fundraiser. $1600.00 was raised. Filling positions. Attending steering committee May 4.

Carl: are they fundraising outside the region yet? Kim: no, no fundraiser chair in yet.

2007.10.14 NADCP preparation for 2008 in St. Louis, MO (Bobbie) Place marker Bobbie and Patty are ready to roll.

2008.01.03 May Quarterly starting DATE (Bobbie) May 19th 7 pm start time Trevor: meetings happening all weekend. Hayward: Will send out travel plan email today.

2008.01.04 TEC UPDATE(Earl)

Earl: Laptop crashed this morning. All TEC documents are on flash drive, so work will continue.

Kim: question to add to interview process: Are you willing to give up positions in other 12 step fellowships to focus on CA?

Discussion regarding religion/ bible/ non-approved literature question, and add question/ replace with one regarding how they would handle unwanted people/ sexual advances in the meetings?

Carl: Can we add 2 and delete 2? Possible the ones regarding working the 12 steps and with a sponsor.

Earl and Kim will review.

Carl: Arizona will police itself and not break traditions.

Carl: Mike has been doing a lot of work. We may have to put him on the payroll. Right now as a volunteer, all his work is really his, if he was on the payroll, CA would own it. Hayward: We may have to. To be updated at the May Quarterly
