Minutes of 7/9/92 meeting were read. Motion made to accept minutes as read. (PASSED)
A. Committee Reports:
1. CA Book – Carrie C.
Carrie reported that all 27 stories for the CA Book have been sent to Patty Encinas (typist) for Word Perfect 5.1 formatting.
2. Finance – Steve L.
CAWSO finances were reviewed. K.D. was requested to:
a) Refer to office report dated 6/11/92. Cash in banks was $45,676.49. Refer to Office Report dated 7/28/92 which documents cash in banks as $12,960.97. Call Brian with explanation.
b) Please prepare from your office reports checkbook balances, sales, 7th, etc. month-by-month since the 1991 WSC on a single sheet of paper and make 30 copies for Steve L. Then, fax to Steve L. and Bill Z. Any questions, call Steve.
c) Get together with Michael Chaks and prepare income (deposits) and outgo (checks) and the net changes month-by-month for the 12 month period from 6/91 – 6/92 on a single sheet of paper for Bill, Brian and Steve.

The WSO received a letter from the IRS requesting reports pertaining to 940s, 941s and 999s. The situation was handled fay Steve.

B. OFFICE REPORT – K.D.
K.D.’s office report was reviewed.
Mastercard/Visa – Considerable discussion took place regarding this issue. The matter will be referred to the WSC Finance Committee for review,
K.D. At 1992 WSC – Motion made to pay K.D/s parking, $ .25 per mile , weekend and evening meals and comp-time (hour for hour) if she’s needed and to fill in as needed (duties to be provided at a later date). (PASSED)
30 Day Chips – K.D. is to obtain chip color samples for a possible color change of 30 day chips.
Burton’s Le Meridien Letter – Motion to approve Burton’s letter to the hotel expressing displeasure with the hotel room rates. (PASSED)
PSA – Motion to pay $ 500 towards PSA production. (PASSED)
SCHEDULE: Next board meeting will take place on 8/6/92 (first Thursday in August) and the business meeting 8/20/92 (third Thursday in August).
