Meeting opened at 7:45 p.m. with a moment of silence and the Serenity Prayer.
Tradition 8 was read.
Concept 8 was read.
Introductions were made all around.
The minutes of the 6/11/92 WSOB meeting were read. Motion to accept the minutes as read. (PASSED)
FINANCE REPORT – Steve L.
A discussion took place regarding WSO checkbook balances. A motion was made to have K.D. transfer $1500 from the Security Pacific Bank account to the Sanwa mandated reserve account. (PASSED)
K.D. is to change the name “reserve account” to “reserve balance”.
Questions arose regarding the submission of a Unity Outreach Committee expense request for airfare which had been submitted by Darryal W. the Chairperson.
Reimbursements were made to individuals who cancelled their Montreal Convention registrations.
Steve L. is writing a letter to the Finance Committee regarding suggestions for their agenda at the 1992 WSC.

K.D.’s office report was reviewed. (see attached)
Joe V. of the Milwaukee Wisconsin area sent the WSO a letter indicating his area prefers the obsolete version of “Tools of Recovery”. Discussion took place regarding the issue of reprinting of old literature by an area. Can it be done? Does the WSO get royalties? A motion was made to send the letter to Chris P., the WSC Literature Committee Chairperson asking for the input of his committee. (PASSED) K.D. is to send a letter to Joe V. in Milwaukee acknowledging the receipt of his letter and its referral to the Literature Committee.

CA BOOK FUND DONATION FLYERS – K.D. is to reprint Craig H.’s flyer for inclusion in all mailings, literature orders, etc.
1992 CALA CONVENTION BANQUET SEATING – K.D> is to call all WSO Committee Chairpersons informing them of CALA’s offer of a banquet table for the WSOB and Committee Chairpersons. Each person’s registration form should be marked in red “WSO Table” if they wish to attend the banquet and sit at the WSO table. Deadline is July 15, 1992.
CA HATS – Memorabilia questions are to be referred to the WSC and the WSBOT. K.D. was instructed to go ahead and obtain 3 bids in the interim.
OLD LITERATURE – K.D. is to distribute all old literature pamphlets (H & I, 70/30 Plan) until they are gone.
COPIER SERVICE AGREEMENT – A motion was made not to renew the service agreement on the copy machine. (PASSED)
AREA CONVENTION ANNOUNCEMENTS – K.D. is to create a calendar of special events section in the Newsgram.
NEWSGRAM – K.D. is to add area fellowship news to the Newsgram.
