- Approved as corrected.
OLD BUSINESS:
Storybook on tape
- Motion: (Patty/Susan): Purchase covers for audiotape box, costing $0.60 @ quantity 500.
- Passed unanimously.
- Motion: (Patty/Susan): Price storybook on tape at $19.99.
- Our production costs (including amortized NRE), assuming 200 copies are $23. At 500 copies costs are 13.70. This price point will give us an approximate breakeven with moderate sales.
- Passed unanimously
Price setting policy.
- Chair discusses CAWSO cash flow. Notes that chip, literature and Storybook sales, along with 7th Tradition donations, are significantly down. Without change, this will impact Office operation negatively.
- Chart and table attached. Note that year 2000 CAWS convention net is preliminary.
- Motion (Patty/Joy): Domestic shipping & handling charges be changed to: 15% of subtotal amount before taxes and discounts, with a minimum of $5. Additional shipping fees (e.g. COD, express shipping) will be passed on directly. This policy will take effect September 1, 2000.

- New information on future pricing from vendors indicate that price rises will be more moderate than we had been told.

- Motion (Joy/Susan): To change existing CAWSO employee raise policy to allow for an increase at the end of an employee’s introductory period at the discretion of the Office Manager or the WSOB. This raise is not limited by the annual raise range as set by the WSOB.
