HOSPITALS & INSTITUTIONS REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS
Eric Rosene H&I Chair. Thanks for allowing me to be of service for my first year as the Hospitals and Institutions chairman. The H&I committee has found its self in the great position of having completed several major tasks over the past few years including re-working the H&I guidelines and the completion of the H&I video. This year our plate was not as full. With the return of veteran committee members and the addition of a number of new members our committee was still very productive. We had one referral and one motion for this conference as well as general housekeeping in our guidelines. Our sub-committees worked feverishly on new ideas and I am proud to have been a part of the H&I committee for 2005.

H&I Guidelines: Robert Holloway
We worked on housekeeping issues on the H&I guidelines subcommittee.
One referral #4313 resulted in a four page form being condensed into a one page form, having to do with the H&I database request.
Correctional Referrals: Felicia Adams
Some State Prisons such as Texas and Georgia have been returning CA literature to the WSO for various reasons. Some facilities do not allow recovery literature or paperback books. Other facilities simply return the literature for no stated reason. Otherwise the

And, once contact is made how to initiate the H&I meeting and how to conduct ourselves in these facilities.

CLOSING COMMENTS
Serving on the H&I committee for five years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. To be a part of watching a new person hear our message then see them get this program is amazing. On behalf of the H&I Committee, we would like to thank you all for letting us be of service carrying the message to the still suffering addict.
Respectfully Submitted:
H&I Chairman,
Eric Rosene
Questions
Girard Collard- Is there a place where we can put those now?
Eric Rosene- Any of the H &I members would be happy to help you.
Theresa Neighbors- Will you print the front page with the new revision date?
Don Logan- This is just housekeeping and not a motion, so the date will stand.
