- MOTIONS:
- Regarding referral # 1080, which states; That the Conference Committee be responsible for the logistics and coordination of the Unity Lunch; That the Unity Committee be responsible for selling tickets and a securing speaker for the event.
Motion 1: To add “Unity Lunch” to our written committee responsibilities on page one of the WSC Unity Committee Guidelines. Seconded. Motion passes.
- Regarding referral # 1376, which states; Consider adding “international outreach” to Unity’s statement of purpose. Motion 2: Insert the word “international” between the words “and” & “outreach” in our statement of purpose. Seconded.

- Regarding referral # 1448, which states; Page 5 Unity Committee Guidelines dealing with diversity to include religious diversity as one of the biases that are harmful to CA as a whole. Motion 3: To add the word “religion” as one of the biases on page 5 of the Unity Committee Seconded. Motion Passes.

- Referral # 1184: To do a feasibility study on opening a chips and literature depot in Canada, helping Canada to spread the message of recovery for a reasonable price. This would mean Canada may be allowed to print chips as well as literature. I would like to say that our dollar is only worth 70 cents US. After paying shipping, duty and GST(tax), we pay 3 times more for chips. An example: Medallions cost $1.75 in the US. In Canada, we pay $4.75 Canadian. Thank you for letting me be of service.
- No action taken, although this committee supports this referral, but it is outside our scope.

- Referral # 1251: To put a cap on the price of hotel rooms for the World Convention. Cost is getting out of hand, and low income and newer members are being left out of what should be a spiritual experience for the whole fellowship.
No action taken. Referred to Finance and Convention.
- Referral # 1378: Create two checklists for starting a new meeting; One for a meeting in established areas, one for meetings in unorganized areas. No action taken. Referred to LCF and WSO.
- Referral # 1454: We would like the committees concerned to look into the possible application to form a new region that could be called “Canada Region”. This would insure better communication between Canadian areas. This, we believe, would promote a greater unity within our areas. The formation of a new region would also mean the nomination of a Canadian trustee. No action taken. Referred to S&B and Trustees.

- Referral # 1006: All Conference Committees to adapt the 12 point approval process for all publications, including PSA’s and instructional videos. No action taken, 12 point approval process already in place.

Unity Lunch sold 118 tickets for a total of $590.00 We spent $519.00, which leaves a surplus of $71.00, turned over to the WS Treasurer. I believe the event went over with a great success. I would like to thank everyone who participated.
