We have accomplished a few projects…we’ve gone through over a 100 boxes, filed everything by year, currently working on capturing all info on disk, discovered no memorabilia. The archival process is now manageable. To preserve our beginnings in a museum type style for all to see. Although we have had some success in getting started, we

have yet to implement the complete archival tools, including preservation materials. There will come a time in the short future, that the office will not be able to hold all this information. Questions?
- Ron A.: By looking at this new NewsGram, will you consider changing the font to be more readable?
- Patrick: Yes
- Rick Delgado: Seems to me that on the first page, the CA block letters were taken from the Celebrate Around the World artwork from last year.
- Patrick: It was an error, and it will be corrected.
- Jay: Last year, the editor of the NG mentioned that they were going to be working on a style manual. Where is that?
- Steve: No progress on that yet, due to lack of resources.
- Jay: Why were four items that were passed at this conference last year…it took 8 months to see it?
- Steve: It was a personnel issue.
- John: Regarding the web server that we are using, do we have the ability to forward emails.
- Patty: Yes, but we have found that it is not as successful. NY has donated a server to us, so we plan on hosting our own email in-house.
- Leon: Thank you, Sheri, for all your hard work. Question on the new website committee – who are they responsible to and when was it created. And, also when will the logo be corrected on the NewsGram?
- Kevin: The logo issue will be resolved.
- Steve: The committee was formed at the NY CAWS convention.
- Leon: Is there some sort of mechanism that this information can be verified that the information is correct.
- Kevin: There is a set policy in the Internet guidelines regarding whom we will receive this information from. It has to deal with something to the sort of it has to be a source that is somewhat known to the WSO.
- Bryan: How is it possible that we can get color copies cheaper than black/white printing.
- Patrick: This is a 4-point color process that is done with gang-running processing by the printer. Basically, this is bulk printing which offers cheaper prices. It is a cheaper technology – all digital.
- John: Patty, this server came from a donation to the NY convention, and was then in turn donated to WSO.
- Patty: The server has been installed. We expect that it will be fully functional by the September board meeting.
- John: Is anything else needed?
- Patty: Time.
- Tony: Will we be looking at printing all our literature this way as well, if it is so much cheaper?
- Patty: We’re looking into it.
- Jeane: We still have a problem receiving starter kits notification.
