1. TREASURER
A. Candy will buy an adding machine.
B. Mitch will call the IRS to find out if the G.S.O. needs to file.
C. Kenny, a CPA, will contact Mitch.
2. BOARD MEMBER REMOVAL
A. Barbara will go through past Board meeting minutes and report attendance of the members.
3. PUBLIC INFORMATION.
A. Bruce is setting up the hospital notification letter on his word processor;.
B. Gil is sending National Directories to people to whom Tom Kenny sent starter kits.
C. Gil will send a letter to the administrator of Beverly Glen hospital in confirmation of the rental agreement on office and meeting.space.
D. Ray will contact the Post Office regarding a tax exempt mailing discount.
E. Gil will contact Bruce to request word processing of a mailing list. Robin will bring a Rolodex for Gil to use.
4. LITERATURE
A. Mitch will check into copyrighting of literature.
5. OFFICE MANAGER
A. Ray will have 2,000 copies of the L.A. Directory printed on colored paper and ready for the monthly meeting.
B. Ray will call Phonemate to ask if a cancelled check or a thank-you letter is sufficient to have an answering machine fixed under warranty.
C. Ray will have 1,000 copies of the Volunteer List printed on colored paper for distribution at the monthly meeting. He will explain why the minimum sobriety is being raised on 12-step callers at the next monthly meeting.

D. Misty will call copy centers to find the most inexpensive
copier. She will explain that C.A. is looking for a regular printer.
6. C.A. CHIPS
A. Gil will find out information on changing shapes and the cost of doing soi
B. After a vote on a slogan by the monthly G.S.R. meeting, Gil
will order the new C.A. chip.
7. JULY 4th MARATHON MEETING
A. Robin will go through the Directory and assign times for meetings.
B. Robin will have 2,000 flyers for the monthly meeting.
8. NEW CENTRAL OFFICE
A. Johnny and Mitch will drive around looking for office space.
9. NEW COMMITTEES
A. Barbara will call Cindy and ask her to bring the volunteer lists to the monthly meeting, broken down by committee.
B. Pia is working on getting a softball field. Steve will get equipment.
10. GUIDELINES FOR MEETING SECRETARIES AND G.S.R.s
Barbara will bring the guidelines mentioned at a prior meeting and add this item to the agenda as the first item of business (Board mtg)
11. C.A. SPRING GRATITUDE MEETING TAPES
A. Barbara will ask Tim if any editing was done on the tapes, and how long the tapes run. She will call A.A. and find out how much they charge for tapes. She will order 100 tapes for the next monthly meeting. She will find out if C.A. can send them a check, and will call Mitch with the amount.
12. WORLD SERVICES
A. Barbara will add to the monthly meeting agenda to vote on incorporation of World Services.
B. Mitch will contact Lionel and ask him to start working on World Services bylaws.
C. If vote passes for incorporation, Mitch will reserve the name with tho Secretary of State.

13. AD IN “VARIETY” MAGAZINE
Johnny vill check if Tom Kenny is still using C.A.’s name in his ad.
14. MIDNIGHT MEETING
Robin will check it out again.
15. NEW MEETINGS ‘
A. Gil and Barbara vill check to see if anyone is interested in starting a meeting at Charter Pacific Hospital in Torrance.
B. San Diego meeting needs speakers. The Board will spread the word.
16. PUBLIC INFORMATION
A. Gil vill send a letter to the editors of Newsweek thanking them and giving them C.A.’s phone number and mailing address for potential inquiries from readers.
17. FILING FEES
A. Mitch will find out why C.A. has not received its filing fees back from the Secretary of State from the first filing.
