COCAINE ANONYMOUS GENERAL SERVICES BOARD “THINGS TO DO LIST”

1. Johnny will call Arthur and notify him of his removal from the Board.
2. TREASURER
A. Mitch will contact John Olivera regarding the outstanding $100.00 from the Laker tickets.
B. Johnny will check with Robin to find out if his picking up mail from the C.A. post office box.
C. Candy will purchase an adding machine.
D. Gil will send a thank-you letter to Sue for her assistance in setting up C.A.’s accounting system.
3. PUBLIC INFORMATION
A. Gil will send National Directories to the people to who Tom Kenny sent starter kits.
B. Ray will prepare Fact Files to include with the hospital notification letters.
C. Bruce M. will set up the hospital notification letter on his word processor.
4. LITERATURE COMMITTEE
A. Mitch will look into the copyrighting of literature.
5. OFFICE MANAGER
A. Ray will make up the new volunteer list form.
B. Ray will explain why the minium is being raised on 12-step callers at the next monthly meeting.
C. Ray will make copies of C.A. articles for the Board.
D. Nina will make up a copy of the C.A. Directory on her word processor and give to Misty. She will find out about paper cost.
E. Johnny wil buy a backup telephone answering machine.
6. WORLD SERVICES
A. Mitch will reserve the name Cocaine Anonymous World Services with the Secretary of State.
B. Ray will give Mitch a copy of the N.A. bylaws at the next meeting.
C. Mitch will contact Lionel and Gary and ask them to start working on World Services bylaws.

7. JULY 4TH MARATHON MEETING/BEACH PARTY
A. Robin will discuss meeting formats at the next Board meeting.
8. NEW COMMITTEES
A. Pia will get a softball field.
B. Steve will buy softball equipment.
C. Gil will reserve Beverly Glen hospital for 7:00 p.m. June 19 for the Committee Chairperson/G.S. Board meeting.
9. NEW CENTRAL OFFICE
A. Mitch will call the phone company and find out what the boundaries are for the current number.
B. Barbara will add an item to the monthly meeting agenda to recruit people to drive through the potential office areas and look for locations.
10. C.A. GRATITUDE TAPES
A. Barbara will find out the cost per tape, how many copies can be made and how fast. Also, she will ask if the “processed by” and name can be left off.
11. WOODLAND HILLS MEETING
A. The meeting should be check out Malka (?)
12. COCANON NUMBER
Ray will get Jeanine’s new phone number and give it to the people manning the phones.
13. Laurence Bulleit will attend the next Board meeting.
14. WORLD SERVICES
A. Barbara will add the subject of donating money to the World Services Organization to the agenda for the next monthly meeting.
