OPENING REPORT
C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2012
FINANCE REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS:
The Finance Committee met at the World Service Conference in the UK, and had email and phone conversations throughout the year. Referrals were addressed and either worked on in committee or sent forward to other committees.
Budgets are being addressed and may be revised during the 2012 Conference. With a successful convention and an increased 7th Tradition it is important that we keep the pedal to the metal to keep revenues on the upswing. There is certainly great room for improvement in getting the word out about our 7th Tradition Contribution Program, Gratitude Month (November) and the Birthday Envelopes. Whereas we had some very generous donations this year, it’s important to ensure GSR’s are getting the money to their areas and that area’s are getting the money to the CAWSO with the 70-30 proposed split in mind.
