CLOSING REPORT
C.A. WORLD SERVICE CONFERENCE 2013
UNITY REPORT
INTRODUCTION AND OPENING COMMENTS
I emerged from this conference with more gratitude and appreciation for the work that is performed at this Ll of service as never before. I have always known that unity was more than a catch phrase and that the unity committees at all Lls of service is critical to our fellowship. Our committee had new members join with eagerness to learn and willingness to serve. We have a couple of outgoing delegates going back to their areas to serve as unity chairs hungry for guidance to promote and raise the awareness of unity. We have filled all of our committee positions and we’re ready to continue our work throughout the year. There are so many people to thank. Thanks to the Conference Committee for all of their tireless work and for granting us an extra 30 minutes for the luncheon. We hope that you enjoyed the new location, menu and lower price. We must give a hearty thanks to our luncheon speaker and outgoing Conference Coordinator Lori Penrose. We want to thank the real heroes of our luncheon, those members who provided rides to and from the luncheon. We also want to thank those who hosted the meetings held both day and night during the Conference.
Have submissions for the Newsgram.

CLOSING COMMENTS
Unity has been my passion for years and I believe to my innermost self that its’ role in our fellowship is critical to its growth. We need to utilize all our resources in order to attract and retain every addict that walk through the doors of Cocaine Anonymous. The Unity Committee can play an enormous role in towards this goal. We have given every delegate a form to get your Area’s Unity chairs involved in our march toward keeping Cocaine Anonymous a beacon of hope for the still suffering addict. I know that everyone here loves Cocaine Anonymous or you would not be here. Let Unity stand beside H & I and PI and all the other committees as we move forward to reaching our full potential as a fellowship.
Respectfully Submitted: Maurice
